Set atop a steep, narrow bluff, Possession Lane Retreat’s barrel-roofed forms were obliquely positioned to reach towards opposite ends of the horizon, thereby maximizing views, separating public and private zones, and reducing the overall visual mass of the home. The resulting interstitial outdoor spaces deepen the home’s connection to the landscape by framing curated pathways, intimate gathering areas and western outlooks.
