This intimate sitting area with textured swivel chairs allows you to enjoy the iconic view of Mt. Daly or to swivel around to chat with the chef in the adjacent kitchen.

Bringing the outdoors in is a common theme in AGI’s work. The cristallo quartzite countertops create a frosty sheen that accents the gray oak cabinetry. Custom counter stools in blue faux leather add color to the space. AGI designed custom pendant lights that complement the view of the patio and waterfall. Construction by Hendrickson Construction.

This bath glows with translucent Stellar White marble on the floors and walls. The beautiful shape of the freestanding tub fits perfectly into this sunny corner.

This Rancho Santa Fe Living Room has a fantastic view and access to a beautiful pool and fountain with a massive pool deck. The owners have a large local extended family and love to entertain. The huge custom sectional, 2nd row sofa and chairs allows almost unlimited seating for game day parties. A custom sofa table provides plenty of space for drinks and snacks. The view to the patio and pool is beautifully framed in a blue and white linen drapery fabric from Kravet.

Not everything has to go to achieve an awesome transformation. Grice focused on refreshing materials and furnishings in a thoughtful, sustainable way rather than starting anew. Plaster walls and maple architectural details were kept while completely changing the look. Gray travertine was selected to re-face the fireplace flanked by custom furnishings designed by Grice. Paintings of colorful local scenes commissioned and painted by Tammie Lane add depth and interest.

Maximum impact in a small space. Norton and Grice created a chalet feel in this 3 BR, 3 Bath Aspen condo. The textured natural stone fireplace complements the light oak walls and ceiling. A custom freestanding banquette opens up the space and creates a fun place to dine or work with your morning coffee. Comfortable Adriana Hoyos chairs complete the setting. A classic Eames chair becomes a sculptural element in the space.

AGI always seeks to create spaces for their clients’ treasures such as was done in this built in behind a U shaped custom sectional. Rich wallcovering and strategic lighting highlight the owners’ favorite objects including these art tiles by Kathleen Hope. Construction by Janckila Construction.

While the client wanted plenty of outdoor seating, Grice grouped them into separate conversation areas. The firepit, closest to the home, is surrounded by Brown Jordan Parkway chairs which are easy to move around as needed and are enduring in the year round California sun. Large, comfy Thomas Baker & Main cottage chaise lounges define an area that is more private. A solid surface Pavilion dining table is shaded with a Treasure Garden umbrella.

Custom California entrance. This area was lacking in character. Grice designed these doors and sidelights for the wow factor from both the exterior and interior. The floor pattern was created to extend this feature into the home. Nickel gap on the ceiling and into the skylight created even more architectural interest. A commissioned oil painting from one of the owners photographs and a custom bench complete the look.

This mountain chalet was made cozy with the oak walls and ceilings. Working closely with the contractor, every detail was seamlessly executed. The cowgirl collage by Brenda Bogart gives the space a Western vibe loved by the Texas owners. The thick woven wool carpet and soft textured fabrics invite you to stay!
